Required for microloc/starter loc appointments. Receive personalized consultation before selecting which service would be best for you. Product recommendations and hair care regime will be given. If you decide to book, the consultation fee will be used as a deposit for follow up service.

Consultation

Want a twist-out without having to do your own twists? This style is perfect for those who want the look without the work. Large flat twists will be done in a pattern that you can leave with and rock your twist out that evening or the next day.

Twist & Go

Hair is shampooed, conditioned and two strand twisted. You can request a blow-dry if you would like to elongate your hair before twisting. Twists can also be completed on wet hair. For small twists please book under mini twists.

Two Strand Twists

This service includes a shampoo, condition, blow dry and hair two strand twisted with no extensions. Mini twists give a fuller look and longevity.

Mini Twists

Our Two Strand Twists with Extensions service offers twisted hair with added fluff twist hair for a long-lasting, lightweight, and natural look. Ideal for those seeking volume, this style is perfect for hair that falls above the shoulders and can last up to 4-6 weeks. Please note that hair is not included.

Mini Two Strand Twists w/ Extensions

Includes shampoo and blow dry. Hair can be twisted wet or dry. Please make your preference known to your stylist at your appointment.

I had a great experience. From the shampoo to the braiding I give this place at 10 all around. Also, I was able to make my appointment the same day. Melissa was my stylist and did s great job braiding my TWA. I love the style.

The salon was quiet, clean and the service was excellent!

Great experience.  My hair was detangled properly before blowdry. I also got a free steam for being a first time client. I will definitely be going back

The Asili Hair Care experience was “like coming home”. Their attention to detail and knowledge of what I needed was so comforting. Their patience and the soothing atmosphere put me at peace right away. Their results made me come over and over and over again.

I came in as a walk-in and was immediately impressed with how nice the salon looks inside. Melissa took care of me, and she did an amazing job from start to finish—shampoo, retwist, style, and the overall experience. My hair looks so good, absolutely beautiful! I can tell she really cares about healthy hair, and I know I’ll be returning because I trust her to help me keep my locs looking and feeling their best. Highly recommend!

I have had the best experience at Asili with my stylist Melissa. She is funny, pleasant and accommodating. She helped me out the first day I came to pick out hair and my cap and where to find them. The salon is welcoming, clean and great atmosphere.

I was so impressed with the hair salon! They had open availability the night before, so I could come in for a quick service. Drea was super professional, friendly, and knowledgeable about hair. The other stylist were also really friendly and welcoming as I walked in. I highly recommend it! I’ll definitely be coming back again.

Sheena was very nice and explained every step of what my service entailed. She even made sure to ask me questions so that my style would be exactly what I wanted.

ShaDawn did an amazing job on my two strand twists. I drove over an hour and a half to get to the location in Litchicum and it was worth it, I am going on 3 weeks and my hair still looks wonderful! If you want great service, come and see ShaDawn, you will not be disappointed!

This was my first time at Asili and I don’t think it’ll be my last. The salon was clean and well organized and Unique, my stylist, was very welcoming and efficient with every step of my hair styling process. Melissa was amazing! She worked tired and hungry but did a great job.

I got a detangle, wash, dry and steam treatment. Sheena was amazing! I have thick 4c hair that tangles easily and she took great care of it, without snatching at my scalp. Definitely recommend.

This Salon was amazing. It’s a friendly environment. Quiet and peaceful. My stylist Unique was the best. We interacted ans if we was old friends just catching up.  Unique did her big one with my full trim and silk press. Came in feeling shaky about cutting my hair and I trusted the process, was comfortable and relaxed. I came in for a wash and blow dry. My stylist recommended a scalp scrub and I didn’t realize how much my scalp would love it. I left with the knowledge that my hair prefers mechanical exfoliation to chemical, the method I had been using.

Sheena did my hair and I love it. I asked for two strand twist she started them and then let me know my hair was to soft and to trust her with another still and I did. It came out better then the one I wanted

Janay is a life saver in the form of a very informed and skilled  hairstylist.  She is a master and expert in the knowledge of hair care and I showed up and she delivered

Jannay Mclver is not just a hairstylist she is natural hair educator.  She is incredibly knowledgeable and attentive, and also an exceptional hairstylist.  I went to her new Asili location in Oxon Hill, Maryland yesterday morning. Very nice.  I highly recommend Asili salon to anyone looking for a personalized and professional hair experience.

I had my second appointment with Unique today and she truly has growing hands. Between appointments, my hair has made dramatic progress in the right direction. The shop is always welcoming and I am happy to have found my new forever stylist!
